This comb has a double edge razor. The razor is inside the comb. This is a great safety feature. You will never believe why I bought this! Let me explain. I have 4 small dogs inside my home. 3 of them with short hair, one with long hair. The short haired dogs shed much more than the long haired one. I use this comb to trim down their hair. This comb works wonders on their hair. It gets rid of lots of shedding hair, and trims a little of the hair too! I would NOT use this on a dog with long hair. This little comb, with the extra blades was exactly what I needed for their hair trimming. I call this my Miracle Comb for dogs. Woo-Hoo!
