Scales come polished, pinned and wedged. Pivot pin hole is drilled small to accommodate blades with smaller pivot holes. The scales just require a bade. The scales I received are simply beautiful. Black horn scales are like a star sapphire, they appear black, but the detail appears under direct light. If your razor has plastic or acrylic scales, these scales are the easiest way to make your hundred-dollar razor look like a three-hundred-dollar razor.
