I’m using this on my legs and underarms. It’s super sharp and the closest shave I have had. I’m getting used to the angle I have to hold it and paying attention to what I’m doing with pressure and direction. It’s important to handle the blades carefully when changing them. It’s an attractive razor with a bamboo handle. It’s inexpensive and it’s packaged in a nice box with 20 blades included. It would make an attractive gift for anyone. Using this kind of razor is a cleaner shave than 2,3,4, or even 5 blades that are on the razor scene these days. Replacement blades are cheap, and and easy to buy at a variety of stores. They are wrapped so that you can handle them safely to change. The razor itself unscrews easily to change blades and it’s very self explanatory.I bought this so I could stop throwing away disposable plastic razors and plastic razor parts. I’ve been learning about the eternal life of plastic recently. Plastic has been found microscopically- in our bodies and deep down on the ocean floor, inside animals, in the air... It’s more than the photos we’ve seen of animals walking around strangled on a bag or a 6 pack holder, it’s worse than the multiple continent sized plastic island floating on the ocean. It’s unimaginable, there are real islands that people haves lived on for generations that are the landing place for garbage because of the ocean currents. It’s unbelievable. impacting every habitat and species.So I was chucking a coffee pod and thinking about how many of those are out there now with our bags and bottles. While the US is exiting the Paris climate change accords, other nations are setting goals for eradication of plastic bags altogether. Making changes to enable carbon neutral days. These things matter, now. My kids and their kids are being served up a pile of destruction. And still people deny it. I wanted to try and stop using so many things that get thrown away. Recycling plastic has reached a tipping point too. There is just too much. Do a little research and it’s easy to find reliable information with scientific sources. So I’m trying to change what I do where I can. Even if it seems like too small of a gesture to help, I’m gonna do it anyway.
