You remove the blade assembly which just pulls off, then use the supplied brush to remove most of the hair, then if necessary run it under a tap to clean out any remaining hairs. This shaver is pretty awesome. Gives a really close cut, barely any little stubbly bits. Easy to use, easy to clean. Unfortunately, after only 8 uses, it stopped charging. I placed a bad review as I was so disappointed, thinking there was no way I could send it back for a replacement as it was way outside of the 30 day return period. But the seller's customer service messaged me and were so worried that their product was faulty, that they offered me a full refund for the broken one, and a free replacement of another new type of shaver. Massive respect to that level of customer service!
