I generally prefer safety razors over the multi blade or electric shaving razors that are all the rage. My friends bought me a name brand razor that has a vibrating rod that was suppose to make the hair stand up or some such marketing thing. I didn't care for it. Much like a safety razor this has a removable blade that slides in place. I would suggest using a drop of body wash or something similar to hold the blade in while you twist the opposite side of the blade holding leaf. That made it easier for me so the blade wouldn't fall trying to secure it in place. Good quality blades come with this and the save was very close. If you have never used one it would be advisable to pull your skin taught and keep it at the most shallow of angles. Moving only in a straight line. You can and will be easily cut if you don't get your technique down just right. I will say the black finish did have some orange peel drips from the painting process. In hind sight had I known the paintbox would be less than stellar I would have gotten the all stainless "Paris" model. I am please by the overall quality of the performance and would recommend this one.
