Harry's razor killed it. Super close shave, non clogging design, no nicks, and comfortable ergonomic handle.In my previous experiences disposable 5-blade razors tended to clog when shaving old growth, and in that situation lesser number blades more widely spaced were preferable. But yeah the 5-blade rocked for daily shaves.So I went on to explore safety single-blade razors for those multi-days before shaves. Well they do work. But they appeal to people that love the ritual of the shave, but they take a lot of time and effort in the process. IMO, the Harry razor blows them away for 95% of shavers. I can get a close shave with my open comb safety razor but must exercise care to not suffer cuts. But on the same shave one can use Harry's pivot head concoction with lots of pressure and get just as close a shave in 1/3 the time. I also find it does not tend to clog up like a certain common name brand.Since shaving is not a life's focus for me I prefer my Harry's shave. On occasion when time does not matter or I have very heavy growth to cut, I will use the two "safety" razors I recently collected.
