I love this hair razor sooo much vs. my old one! I've been cutting my own hair with a razor for years. (I wear a textured short pixie cut.) And this hair razor by Jzko is an upgrade in a few key ways. My old school razor had a straight blade with a guard that slid over it and the whole thing folded in half for storage and to keep the blade from cutting anyone accidentally. Because it folded and unfolded easily, this made it a bit awkward to use because the handle could move - not good when you're cutting hair. Also, sometimes the guard on my old razor would slip no matter how tightly I turned that little screw. And there was the safety issue especially when changing blades because you're dealing with a 2”-3” super sharp open blade. This razor changes all that - what an upgrade! Because the blade and guard are ONE piece, there was no need for this razor to be designed as a folding razor. This not only allows a nice solid razor handle, but the handle is also ergonomically shaped to fit beautifully in my hand allowing for steady, no slip cutting. The handle feels very well made yet is incredibly lightweight. And because the guard is at one with the blade, there are far fewer safety concerns when changing out the blade. And the way the blades are packaged makes this even easier. The blades come in a plastic holder with each blade in a secure “channel”. To load a new blade, leave the blade in the holder and simply insert and slide the blade onto the razor handle. The blade will come away with the handle. There is no need to even touch the blade when changing one out. And it keeps the replacement blades secure and protected. This set comes with the handle, a comb and a total of ten blades. For ~$10, this is an excellent value. And the blades are super sharp! I was thrilled with how this razor cut my hair. The only thing I wish and it's a minor thing is I wish they had included a protective sleeve to store the razor in. I'm not even taking off a star for that because everything else here is stellar. This razor is a win, win, win!
