These are extremely sharp!!! They deliver a great shave, however they are not for safety razor newbies. I recommend blades more forgiving like Gilette 7'Oclock or something like that until you get used to it.I also found that adding a "lube" in the shaving process, before putting on the shaving cream helps a lot. I use Trumpers Extract of Line Skin Food and its a smooth, smooth nick free shave just about every time!
